ELECTRICAL
In the past I have chased and captured many gremlins, in many looms. Most of the time electrical issues don’t start with the bike, they start with the hands of someone with half an idea. I’ve seen some horrors, that may have worked at the time, but dodgy, pre-insulated crimps and copious amounts of electrical tape rarely stand the test of time. As a result, most of the time I have spent on electrical repairs and fault finding, has been spent undoing someone's masterpiece! Having said that, please don’t be apprehensive in letting me know if you’ve attempted something on your loom and it’s all gone wrong. It can cut the time I spend on it in half and we’ve all been there at some point or another… me included.

Sometimes, a repair is not enough. It can be likened to putting a plaster on an axe wound or a cherry on a turd. Sometimes you have to start again, or at least partially start again. Bear in mind, this is quite rare. It has to be a real hum-dinger for me to suggest it. Ninety-nine point nine percent of the time, a good repair or modification is enough.
