ULTRASONIC CLEANING

I have a modestly sized ultrasonic tank that can accommodate most things up to inline four crankcases. The exact dimensions are 22'x18'x6'. If what you have exceeds these dimensions, please do still ask as there may be a way around it. I do have some limits besides size. I won’t, for example, ultrasonic your two-stroke down pipe! There are better ways of cleaning these and I tend to use my tank for parts that require fine cleaning only: Carburettors, braking system parts, engine parts, etc.

I’ve thought long and hard about a price list for the cleaning of carburettors (it’s listed below). When I clean a part it's not simply dip-and-done. They will be degreased, stripped and checked over before going into the tank. When they come out, I check that the jets and passages are clear, remove any stubborn bits of varnish or grime. They are then reassembled with care and given a mist of ACF 50 to preserve them. I can’t help it, it’s in my nature. If any jets or passages are still blocked, then I will unblock and clean them without poking wire or needles through. If any parts are unserviceable or I find anything suspect I'll contact you before replacing them or continuing with the job. So for this reason, I’ve added a little extra on top of simply sticking them in the tank. If you do want them simply dipped and returned to you, that’s no problem at all, just let me know.
